RIB: A football team coming soon

The Rwandan Investigation Bureau (RIB) will soon create a football team. The administrative file is already being compiled.

The information was confirmed by the spokesperson for the Rwandan Investigation Bureau (RIB), Dr. Thierry Murangira.

“Yes, it will be soon; we are preparing and gathering all the necessary documents,” Murangira said.

He was reacting to information circulating for several days that the Rwandan Investigation Bureau (RIB) is preparing to create a football team.

The spokesperson for the Rwandan investigation office stressed that this team will be created with the aim of continuing to reach out to young people and disseminating various messages related to their awareness campaigns.

RIB will always be involved in activities that interest young people.

According to Murangira, the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) will always engage in activities that interest young people, stressing that youth constitute the country’s greatest strength.

The RIB spokesperson declined to reveal the date of the official launch of the football team. He indicated that preparations are on track and that the team will soon be launched in the official competitions of the Rwandan Football Association (FERWAFA).

In case of launching RIB football club in FERWAFA competitions, RIB will have to start with the 3rd division championship of the Rwandan championship, as indicated in the regulations governing registration in FERWAFA competitions.
